OUR ORGANISATION

ABOUT US

Abundance in Light is a women and youth led Nonprofit Organisation that empowers, educates and and supports women and children who are gender based violence survivors and victims.

Our 3 pillars as an organisation includes:

  • Education - We educate through our social media platforms in collaboration with various leaders and organisations.
  • Service - We provide online support and counseling to GBV survivors and victims, host workshops on GBV and sexual reproductive health matters at schools.
  • Advocacy - We are dedicated to empower women about their rights through education.

What We do?

OUR ORGANIZATION​
  • Is working towards achieving the following SDGs: 1,3,4,5,10,16 and 17
  • Provides a safe virtual space for girls and young women to feel safe, vulnerable and open to talk about issues that affect them. This is through our WhatsApp, WhatsApp group and social media pages.
  • Educates the youth and the general population about GBV - including sexual assault, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and the importance of maintaining good mental health on our social media platforms.
  • We conduct workshop, activities and events where we educate, support and provide support to girls and young women from diverse backgrounds.

How our organization Functions

Our Mission

Empower and support GBV survivors and victims with education and resources to heal and navigate through life. Educate and provide resources to girls and young women about their sexual and reproductive health. Create safe spaces and channels of communication where healing and therapy can take place.

Our Vision

Our vision is to educate and advocate on social ills such as Gender Based Violence -including sexual assault, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and mental health.​
