This campaign aims to promote and encourage our learners to use local library so that they can develop a culture of reading for pleasure.
Coupled with that we also aim to improve the learners’ reading skills for comprehension – which is what many of our learners are currently struggle with within the education system.

Bala Le Rona (Reading Programme)
This programme seeks to address the matter of improving learners’ literacy skills, but through the lens of introducing them to the idea of reading for pleasure.
Format
Facilitator assigned to a school withing a particular community, and there they get to work with grade 4 learners and assigned to one local library.

Working with the school, the learners who are part of this programme will be monitored in terms of their academic performance in Literacy and their usage of books will also be assessed.
