ABUNDANCE AND LIGHT AND THEIR IMPACTFUL COLLABORATION WITH TIGER BRANDS AND MAMELODI SUNDOWNS LADIES’ TEAM TO HOST MENSTRUAL WORKSHOPS AT MULTIPLE SCHOOLS.

There is a profound beauty that is unveiled when we sow seeds of love in the fertile hearts of children.

When we nourish them through kindness, protection, discipline and education.

When we show them, that they too, are blessed and highly favored.

We heal the Earth by healing our children, for they are the ones that are closest to it.

May the works of our hands and the tears that flow down like rain grow these seeds into trees, immovable by even the “strongest” of winds.

We were blessed with the opportunity to collaborate with Tiger Brands and Mamelodi Sundowns’ Ladies Team and host three menstrual workshops at Rebontsheng Primary School in Vosloorus, Rondebult Primary School and Phumula Primary School in Germiston.

We educated the lovely girls on the female reproductive system, shared menstrual hygiene tips, and cultivated a safe space for them to be able to interact with us and have fun while doing so.

Our collaboration with Tiger Brands and the Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Team has provided more than 800 sixth and seventh grade girls with sanitary products!

We are grateful for the helping hands and to the schools for allowing us to do our work and help these girls feel confident and empowered.

With a grappling 35% of schoolgirls being absent from school due to the lack of sanitary products, these menstrual drives are a step in the right direction towards alleviating period poverty in South Africa.

Star players from Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Team spoke encouraging and empowering words, which will stick with these girls through many more moon cycles.
