The darkness of the nt filled the air with a sense of mystery
With the shimmering of the moon illuminating their souls
And the glistening of the stars, their eyes.
Their bodies only a slight tilt of their heads away.
She places her hand on his chest,
He places his on the small of her back.
The fresh breeze carried the scent of the pine trees and the smell of freshly rained soil.
Their undeniable attraction towards each other has led them to this very moment…

The beginning of some of the most intimate moments of our lives usually begin at a glance.
Sexual attraction, and the different feelings that come with it, can sometimes lead to the physical manifestation of our sexual desires.
Once these desires are manifested, there is an array of hormonal, emotional, physical and mental changes that occur.
Then, there are the different possible outcomes after that moment.
Some of these are felt immediately while others are felt after some time has passed.
Knowing how your body functions, especially your sexual reproductive organs, and educating yourself on the changes that occur during and after sexual intercourse, is a way in which you can keep yourself safe from unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases/infections (STD/STI), and HIV.
February is dedicated to Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and educating as many individuals as we can on:
The human anatomy, different STI’s (such as gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis, and HIV/AIDS) that individuals may be exposed to when condoms are not used, and all things contraceptive (physical, chemical, and emergency).
Many of us were raised during a time when sexual health conversations were taboo and had to rely on information relayed through Soul City.
As a result, many of us are only starting to actually get to know and understand our bodies more, in our adult ages.
The more we educate ourselves on our bodies, sex, and contraceptives, the better prepared and healthier we can be.
They each went back to their homes,
From a kiss, their imaginations have broken through the dry desert surface, and dove deep into the depths of their oceans.
They feel feelings familiar to hot springs and the steardiness of a tall pine tree.
A rendezvous, perhaps, to a place more… private.
February is dedicated to Sexual Reproductive Health Awareness and Abundance in Light has collaborated with the passionate Marlone Angwafor, a Masters in Pharmacology candidate at Rhodes University, in order to spread Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) awareness and empower individuals with information and choices.
Today, Friday 13 February, is International Condom Day. A day dedicated to reminding you to Protect Your Play. Every Time. Each Choice.
“AHF first spearheaded International Condom Day in 2009 as an innovative and lighthearted way to remind people that wearing a condom can prevent pregnancy and STDs, including HIV,” said Michael Weinstein President of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). Condoms are there for our protection and we all have the right to choose to engage in safe sex.
No one has the right to remove a condom during sex without the consent of the other individual.
That is a blatant violation of their rights.
With the protection that condoms offer us, it is important to know that these shields we wield are only (percentage) effective and they do have side effects, especially for women.
Some women may experience vaginal yeast infections, UTI’s, or experience an allergic reaction to the latex and lubricant.
There are other options such as vegan-friendly condoms.
She wondered how it would feel.
How she would feel.
How he would feel.
If that kiss is anything to go on, they would hear the tempo of their heartbeats change to a staccato.
Their breath would become short and shallow before becoming deep and mellow.
The lines of where she begins and he ends would be blurred.
Lurred deeper into the well of pleasure, as their walls collide.
The rise of dopamine makes this a wild ride.
Adrenaline gives you the rush of surfing a high tide.
No longer feeling the desire to hide.
For this is not the Garden of Eden.
As the scent of vanilla fills the air, they both remember that all they will leave with today, is a pleasurable memorу.
We Imagine there are many of us that have questions relating to sexual reproductive health and we as Abundance in Light, alongside Marlene Angwafor, an expert in her field, are here to answer those questions. We are passionate about inviting in experts to provide accurate information to the public.
